Wow - that's incredible. I'm with you on Wikipedia... while it may not be the Encyclopaedia Brittanica in the credibility stakes, it's potential as a repository of information makes it FAR more interesting.
It's the usability for me. Even if I had Britanica sitting on the shelf I wouldn't use it a quarter as much because it doesn't flow with all my other work online.
I think Wiki is fine if you go in with your eyes open. I wouldn't use it to diagnose my daughter if she were sick, but as a general reference it's tits!
My lecturers hate it if you put a wikipedia reference up. It quite amusing. But then again they get upset if you use the online catholic encyclopedia. You'd think they'd be a fan of that. The other wonderful tool is Answers.com. Love it.
